At Featherstone Care Services Ltd we are dedicated to running homes where children are safe and nurtured, where they can pursue passions and plan their futures.
Newly refurbished
The home has recently been refurbished to a very high standard with all the modern features of a home.
Downstairs there is a large hallway leading to a staff office, downstairs toilet with wash basin, large storage room by the side. There is a large kitchen which can be opened up into the large dining room area which leads out into the very long back garden with bricked patio area and outside storage for bikes and garden equipment. There is a good size front room with large windows looking out to the front driveway. Upstairs there are 4 individual bedrooms for children situated over 2 floors. Each bedroom is a good size and tastefully decorated so that children can have space and privacy awaiting personalisation from each individual young person.

Two floors
The 1st floor consists of the manager’s office/ staff sleep room with ensuite shower room. 1 main bathroom on the 1st floor with walk-in shower, bath, sink and toilet, next door to a separate toilet with wash basin. 2nd floor has a walk-in shower room with wash basin and toilet, 1 staff bedroom and 1 young person’s bedroom. The upstairs has more bedrooms that can give children more space and privacy. At Sutton Ivy, children and young people have a place to concentrate on homework, talk with friends, and set goals for their future.

Supporting families
Sutton Ivy Children’s home helps and supports whole families by caring for children and giving parents the time and support they need to solve life’s challenges. Some families are facing emergencies like homelessness or serious illness of a parent; others have children who are awaiting a foster placement, or children who are unable to perform successfully at home and school and need a fresh start.
